This post is directed to my dear NOOK friends. Since the redesign of the site, I began posting only the free Kindle books. It seemed logical enough at the time because I was posting “FREE on Kindle: ” as well as “FREE on NOOK:” Posting duplicates seemed a bit redundant. Yes, it seemed logical to stop posting “FREE on NOOK:” stuff anymore, but it no longers seems logical.
Why? Because you would not believe the number of dear NOOK owners who have contacted me asking about the NOOK book links. Logic does go out the window when you are not treating your readers fairly.
So, look for more “Free on NOOK:” listings in the future.
If you haven’t read my About page for The Vessel Project, check it out. On that page, I describe the whole purpose of the site…
What’s the purpose of The Vessel Project? The answer goes back many years to my childhood. I was saved at a young age but not raised in Church. I’ve always been an avid reader but at that time, the Christian book market was very small. If there were more Christian books available, I might have grown more in my faith. That’s why you will find so many free resources available on The Vessel Project.
To my dear NOOK friends again I ask, please be patient with me. I’ll start posting links to NOOK books very soon.

But it is not posting duplicates when they are 2 completely different links.
Agreed.
Thanks, I have a Kindle but I have Nook on my phone!
I do that too so I can make sure I get copies of all the free books.
What if you were to make one post such as “Free on Kindle and Nook” where applicable and provide links to both in the same post?
Stephen.. that would work for books that are actually free on both Kindle and NOOK but some aren’t.
Thanks so much. As a new Nook owner I look forward to your listings of free books!
So glad to hear that. Thanks for dropping by.
what a dear person you are , it is awesome how God is using you to bless us by allowing His words to enter our hearts thru the effort you have put into this site , you are making all of this possible for so many of us on limited budgets,
Bless you and your family
cc
a grateful thank you
Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to help. Time spent reading a good Christian book is seldom wasted.
I DO miss my “nook links”. I am an AVID reader and love that I can get FREE books!! Thank you!
Glynna, thank you for your kind words. Did you see all of today’s “Free NOOK Books” ?
Yay! Thanks, Keiki! You’re such a blessing to so many. I pray God’s blessing back atcha!
My mother-in-law is in a nursing home and on a very tight budget. She loves to read and we got her a Nook last year. It has paid for itself many times ove because of your free listings She is delighted to have all the free Christian books to read. Thank you for what you do!
I’m a Nookie, so thanks for posting the free links, or even just letting us know the free titles, if posting all the links is extra work for you. If we know it’s available, it’s not hard to search a title at B&N. It’s just really nice to know it’s available! Thank you so much for what you do! I’ve been introduced to many great authors I would not have otherwise.
Thank you so much for this response! Love my Nook and your site!
Thank you. Your encouragement means a lot to me.
Thank you! I have a Nook and a kindle on my phone. I focus on my Nook though. I like the idea of only posting books that are available on both together and separate listings for the individual Kindle or Nook freebooks that are different. I appreciate all that you do, and I love anything that you do for us.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
I appreciate that as I have both a nook and my kindle. I will say there are a lot more free kindle books though. Thats why I bought my kindle
Thanks Sheryl, you know that reminds me. I need to place links to the free reading apps in the sidebar. Thanks for prompted me to do that.
You’ve been so sweet… I am a Nook owner and I love getting the free books.
Thanks for all your work and consideration. Everyone appreciates what you do, even if they don’t take the time to figure out how to make a comment.
Thanks for reconsidering and posting some Nook links. I appreciate coming to your blog and reading about different books and having a place to find out about free Nook books. I have suggested your site to many of my “Nook friends”.
Karen,
Thank you for you kind words and for visiting the site often.
so glad you are posting the Nook books again….I was wondering what happened. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this!!!!
Thank you so much. I was one of the ones asking about Nook books. I feel better now. I tell all people I meet that have a Nook to come here to get free books.
