There are several books nominated (see the bottom of the post for the complete list) including several from writers friends of mine and even one from a Vessel Project Kindred member. Although small publishers are often less well known than larger publishing houses, they produce fresh and innovative books to inspire readers or fill niche needs. The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award honors books produced by small publishers for outstanding contribution to Christian life.
The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award is offered for books in each of 12 categories: General Fiction, Romance, Biography, Christian Living, Relationships/Family, Devotional, Bible Study/Theology, Gift Book, Children’s Book (4-8 years), Children’s Book (8-12 years), Young Adult (12+ years) and eBook Exclusive.
The winners of the 2012 Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award are determined solely by the votes of Christian retailers and book lovers alike. The winners will be announced on April 16, 2012. The Christian Small Publisher Book of the Year Award is sponsored by Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA). CSPA was established to represent and promote small publishers in the Christian marketplace. The association currently represents 100 small publishers. CSPA is a supplier member of CBA.
